Vision

If you wanted to borrow a book, then you could probably find the nearest library, couldn’t you? For sake of comparison, there is one library in the Czech Republic for every 1,687 persons. On the other hand, 18,886 people must be served by each of the 545 preaching stations or evangelical churches! Our vision is to see a movement of healthy Christian fellowships that transform lives, families, and communities in every region of the Czech Republic! We long to see healthy Christian fellowships as close as the local library serving every region of the Czech Republic!

Our Hope for the Future

What do you see when you envision the future? This is what we can see:

• a day of spiritual awakening among the evangelical believers, churches and organizations of the Czech Republic (2 Chron. 7:14)
• a day when they relate to one another in Christian love and unity (Eph. 4:1-6)
• a day when they respect each other’s diversity (Eph. 4:7-11)
• a day when they are growing together in Christ-like maturity (Eph. 4:12-13)
• a day when the church is marked by charity (Eph. 4:14-16)
• a day when they will receive the command to “disciple the nations” as their responsibility (Matt. 28:18-20)
• a day when everyone has a healthy church in reasonable cultural and geographical proximity so they can see the gospel lived out before them (1 Thess. 1:8)
• a day when everyone has the opportunity to hear the gospel, (Rom. 10:14-15)
• a day when God will be worshiped and praised by a great multitude of Czechs (Habbakuk 2:14; Rev. 19:6-8).

In order for this to become a reality, statistically there is a need for over 5,500 new healthy churches or small groups of Christians. The Czech Republic needs more than 10 times as many churches or small groups as they have today.
