Opportunities

We don’t do trips, we facilitate ministry opportunities! The success of every partnership depends on how much the team leader and members are willing to invest in the project. Training a team leader, recruiting individual team members, building up the team and preparing the team for ministry are just a few of the essentials of an effective short-term ministry. We can recommend or provide resources for each phase of preparation. Every short-term team, ministry opportunity and partnership is unique and subject to many variables (the sending expatriate church, leadership ability, team composition, ministry assignment, the receiving national church, experience, spiritual maturity, social skills, etc.). We don’t have “canned” or “cookie-cutter” approaches or opportunities where we just “plug you in.” We’d like to get to know you, to talk a while and do our best and help you discover a match with a national worker or ministry project for which you are well suited. Still, we do have some common points of entry, ministry opportunities that have proven helpful in forming partnerships. To learn more about these opportunities select the short-term teams link.
