The Bible Training Center for Pastors and Church Leaders (BTCP/L) is designed to train national church leaders for local church ministry by equipping them with necessary biblical knowledge and practical ministry skills. As such, BTCP/L is both a concept and a curriculum.

The Concept: To teach pastors and church leaders in a non-formal, local setting with a qualified teacher in a discipleship relationship. This is not a typical academic setting where a professor lectures and students listen. The emphasis is on assimilation of biblical principles, concepts, truths and personal spiritual growth through individual reading and guided group interaction.

The Curriculum: Ten courses that provide the essential equivalent of a basic Bible college education. The specific courses include the following:

  • Bible Study Methods and Rules of Interpretation
  • Old Testament Survey
  • New Testament Survey
  • Preaching Biblical Messages and Pastoral Ministry
  • Bible Doctrine Survey
  • Personal Spiritual Life
  • Church Ministry/Administration/Education
  • Teaching Principles and Methods
  • Church History Survey
  • Missions/Evangelism/Discipleship
